After the German and Italian Premiere of The Monuments Men, George Clooney presented his last movie yesterday in a cold and freezing Leicester Square. George was the first one who arrived on the red carpet, posed for photos and signed a lot of autographs. All the cast (apart from Cate Blanchett who got sick) all the members of the main cast joined George. John “the Big Lebowski” Goodman followed George Clooney on the red carpet and the others Monument’s men joined the party after a while: Jean Dujardin, Bob Balaban, Bill Murray Hugh Bonneville and last but not least Matt Damon; the star of Good Will Hunting arrived with her wife Luciana Barroso and was the mostly welcomed by the public.
The Monument’s Men is the last fatigue of George Clooney as director and screenwriter: based on a true story it talks about the most well-known art heist in History; Frank Stokes (Clooney) US lieutenant decided to assemble a team of soldier to protect the European artistic manufactures from the Nazi threat. This is the fifth movie who Clooney directed, unfortunately without Oscar nomination: Next time George!!
The Monuments Men will be out on general release 14th of February.
