EATEN BY LIONS AN AWARD-WINNING BRITISH COMEDY
CELEBRATES ITS UK RELEASE ON 29th MARCH
EATEN BY LIONS– a hilarious and contemporary comedy will be released in UK Cinemas on 29th March 2019. After celebrating its world premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2018, the movie won the Lebara Play Audience Choice Award for Best Film. The film is written by David Isaac and produced by the Award-winning Hannah Stevenson.
EATEN BY LIONS tells the story of half-brothers, who lost their parents in a tragically accidents, they were killed by lions. The half-brothers were then raised by their Grandma who passes away. After this incident, the brothers decide to leave home and go on a life-changing journey to find one brother’s birth father. The mission is funny and touching; it lets them discover themselves. The story is a contemporary example of modern multicultural Britain and what happens when they find their new family is another part of their journey.
