BFI London Film Festival is coming back this October 6-17 for its 65th edition. Last Monday the 65th London Film Festival has announced its Industry Programme, which will take place alongside the main screenings and public events.
This year’s focus will be Creativity & Convergence, and namely the shifting media landscape and the impact of new technologies, with a wide range of panels, meetings, and discussions that want to highlight and explore the challenges that the film and creative industry have to face in the post-pandemic era.
The headline of LFF Connects section, which promotes collaborative relationships between film and other creative industries, will be a conversation with Edward Enninful Obe, Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue: the Spotlight section will host conversations with producer Ed Guiney and filmmaker Jess Search, alongside a wide range of panels with industry leaders, from the sector of XR to that of podcast creation.
The Industry Programme also hosts a Talent Development section, which includes the LFF Critics Mentorship Programme and an internationally focused talent development programme.
Finally, the Market section presents both a Buyers and Sellers venue and a Production Finance Market.
