“Why don’t we take a couple of years off and explore life in a different way?”
(Rolf Winters)

On 11th September DRM.AM attended the Premiere of the heartfelt documentary “Down To Earth” in Picturehouse Central, London.
The event was attended by many people, looking forward to seeing the movie, that was set to be released in UK cinemas on 14th September.
Filmmakers Renata Heinen and Rolf Winters, who were also the “mom” and “dad” in the film, joined the screening and had some nice and warm conversation with the press before that.
DRM.AM had the honor of talking with them and being told about how they set their journey plan, how they picked places to visit, what impressed them the most during their travel, which were the difficulties of shooting at the spot and dealing with children while in the most remote places in the world, and the importance of going back to nature and connecting with the world.
“Down to Earth” is the on-the-road story of a 5-year journey throughout all the world, from Asia to South America, passing through Africa, to find the Earth Keepers and learn how to live as you think you should, in harmony with surroundings, nature, and people. So, Renata and Rolf took on this outer journey, which became only the metaphor of their inner evolution, with their kids. Then, they decided to make a documentary out of their experience, featuring the worlds, persons, and lessons they brought home. Hence, “Down to Earth” is not just a movie, but a gift to all the souls that want to connect with the world and humanity again.
However, their words are as inspiring as their movie is, and their eyes as shining as the message they want to spread with their documentary, so do not miss the opportunity to have a look at the interview that DRM.AM had with them!
